The Video Analytics Solution is a platform utilizing image processing and artificial intelligence to detect and analyze defects in manufacturing and assembly lines. These release notes pertain to version 1.7.0.

Compatibility

The VQI solution was tested on Ubuntu Server 20.04 LTS.
The MLP version used is 6.6.2.
The Torch serving version is 5.3.1 for BDD, 7.0.1 for IBA, and 7.1.0 for AQI and ODCC.

New functionalities

Camera alignment detection

This new tool makes it possible to capture reference images to verify the camera position is consistent over time and that the camera hasn’t been moved since the deployment.

Improvements and updates

Dashboard notifications

The dashboard will now display notifications for the user, informing them about status updates, errors, or camera misalignment.
