Camera setup
This article explains how to set up cameras.
Mounting cameras
The consistency of captured images is very important because the application relies on visual input. Mount the cameras in a safe and stable fashion to ensure that the solution produces the highest quality results.
The best mounting solution depends on your production site and the surrounding area. We generally recommend using either T-slotted aluminum framing profiles or a mounting bracket for the cameras, but there is no one-size-fits-all solution.
Do not place the cameras in areas where workers or a piece of machinery could accidentally move/dislodge them from their original position.
Mobotix cameras
For deploying Mobotix cameras, refer to the user manuals on the Mobotix website. Make sure to select the correct Camera model.
Basler cameras
For deploying Basler cameras, please refer to the support documentation on the Basler website.
Video Vision supports Basler cameras utilizing the GigE protocol.
