The Video Analytics Solution is a platform utilizing image processing and artificial intelligence to detect and analyze defects in manufacturing and assembly lines. These release notes pertain to version 1.6.0.

Compatibility

The VQI solution was tested on Ubuntu Server 20.04 LTS.
The MLP version used is 6.6.2.
The Torch serving version is 5.3.1 for BDD, 7.0.1 for IBA, and 7.1.0 for AQI and ODCC.

Custom dashboard logo

The users now have the ability to upload a custom logo on the dashboard.

Improvements and updates

RTSP support

Implemented support for RTSP - Real Time Streaming Protocol, allowing the VAS application to be used in conjunction with a wide range of camera models.

The RTSP stream currently only supports Full HD resolution and the MJPEG format. The maximum frame rate is determined by the camera model.
